More than content, it’s composition that makes it graphic.
It’s somewhat difficult to categorize the imagery I show on this Site. This category, ‘Graphic’ is for images that have a particular symmetry or pattern to them. When I put a frame on something and shoot it, sometimes it’s solely for the graphic presentation it makes. The subject can be anything; it’s the collective relationship of its parts – color, texture, shape, and direction, all balanced within the frame that make it graphic.
